We are seeking an exceptional software engineer to build new features and scale our infrastructure. Performance and scalability are crucial for a site the size of Xanga; if you love squeezing the last bits of speed from your code, this position might be right for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop highly scalable and fast web applications using primarily C#/ASP.NET
- Develop backend applications or infrastructure necessary support the site
- Interact with team members to create compelling features
- Willing to have an active role in the entire product development process
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience building software for the web
- Experience programming C#, Java, or C++
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX and other web technologies
- Ninja programming skills
- Understanding of relational databases and SQL
- A passion to learn and keep up with the latest technologies
- Living in or willing to relocate to the New York City area
